Summary: One of my many takes on how Syaoran would've given the bear to Sakura.
Written for 15minuteficlets

Syaoran was hiding behind the tree in the school’s play ground, toying with the black bear in his hands. He randomly passed a finger over one of its ears, tossed it up into the air, and caught it as it came back down, debating, once again, whether or not he should give the bear to her. He had made it months ago, back when they went to buy the bear-making kit, and it sat untouched on his desk ever since.

“Sakura…” he said to himself, staring into the bear’s eyes.

“Hi Syaoran!”

Syaoran jumped and looked behind him.

Sakura was standing there, with a bright smile on her face, as always. She came around the tree and stood facing him. Her eyes suddenly fell on the bear that he holding.

“Did somebody make that for you?” she asked, still smiling.

Syaoran looked down, feeling his face starting to heat up. “N-no.”

“So you made it?”

He nodded, still facing the ground. It’s now or never, Syaoran thought.

A silent moment passed.

Syaoran suddenly held the bear in front of him, towards Sakura. “For you,” he said quickly.

When she took the bear, Syaoran sprinted away, leaving a very confused Sakura behind.

She gently squeezed the bear, its fabric gently caressing her hands. Sakura smiled, staring into its big black eyes, feeling happier than she did all week.

That was my first time doing a 15minuteficlets challenge. It was lot of fun! I can't wait for next week's challenge!
